Stark County High Schools Model United Nations (SCHMUN)

Since 2006, local high school teachers and Malone University faculty have partnered to offer Stark County students from several high schools the opportunity to debate and discuss global issues.

On November 9 and 12, 2016 students will simulate the United Nations General Assembly in debating three global issues at a new location: Jackson High School. The issues will be 1) Haiti, Cholera, and UN Peacekeeping; 2) Suing for Climate Change Damages?; and 3) Responding to the Destruction of Cultural Heritage Sites and Black Market Selling of Artifacts.
